Check product-specific instructions

Keep the package until you have checked restrictions. Printed patterns, added ingredients and product construction may change instructions. Do not substitute a paper towel for parchment, an oven liner or a cooking bag just because it is paper.

Separate food contact and heating

For drying washed produce, use a product explicitly suitable for the intended contact and a clean work surface. For microwave use, follow both appliance and towel directions, and never leave heating unattended.

Choose a purpose-made alternative if unsure

If directions are absent or unclear, contact the manufacturer or choose an accessory made for the task. This is a label-reading decision guide; we have not tested flammability or food migration.

Before you decide

  • Read the towel and appliance guidance together.
  • Do not use a paper towel as an oven liner.
  • Follow manufacturer restrictions for printing or added ingredients.
